Wrap tamale(s) in wet paper towel and place on a microwave safe dish. Microwave for 2 minutes, if frozen add 3 more minutes (ovens vary; cooking time may need to be adjusted). Remove from microwave and let stand for 1 minute. Remove corn husk from tamale(s) and serve.
Use a steaming basket large enough to place the tamale(s). Steam the tamale over boiling water for 8-10 minutes (covered), if frozen add 5 more minutes. Keep the basket above the water so they do not get wet. Remove tamale(s) from steaming basket and let stand 1 or 2 minutes, remove corn husk and serve.
